Parfet Park

Golden's oldest park, built in the early 1900s beside Clear Creek just north of downtown: shade trees, picnic tables and a big lawn, on the Clear Creek Trail.

Parfet Park dates from the early 1900s, which makes it the oldest park in Golden. It sits beside Clear Creek just north of downtown, with shade trees, picnic tables, benches, a slide, a dog hydration station, restrooms and a large field. It connects to the Clear Creek Trail.

It is one of the creek-corridor parks covered by the city’s Park Rules page, which sets their hours at one hour before dawn to one hour after dusk and bans alcohol, glass, smoking and most grills there.
