Golden Beverage Tasting & Chili Cook-Off
The 17th “Knock Your Boots Off” tasting in Parfet Park, now run by the nonprofit Golden Welcome Center with Coors Distributing Company: beer and other beverage samples in a souvenir cup, chili cook-off entries to taste and vote on, live entertainment, snack vendors and a silent auction. Tickets are sold in advance only, with no sales on the day; bring ID for the wristband needed for alcohol samples, enter at 10th and Jackson streets, and leave dogs at home. It goes ahead rain or shine.
