North Table Mountain Park

Jeffco Parks & Open Space mesa park with 15-plus miles of trails, panoramic views and rock climbing. Trailheads at 4788 Highway 93 (West) and 100 Peery Parkway (Golden Cliffs).

Lava flows formed North Table Mountain and its sister mesa, South Table Mountain, about 60 million years ago. Jefferson County Parks & Open Space (JCPOS) runs the park on top: more than 15 miles of trails, panoramic views and rock climbing. There are two trailheads, the West Trailhead at 4788 Highway 93 and the Golden Cliffs Trailhead at 100 Peery Parkway.

The natural-surface Fairmount Trail climbs to the park from Arvada, with its south end on Easley Road between Ridge Road and 48th Place. JCPOS is also designing the Tucker Gulch Trail, a regional link north of Golden from the West Trailhead to West 56th Avenue.

County open space is closed from one hour after sunset to one hour before sunrise unless posted (JCPOS Regulations page, https://www.jeffco.us/1583/Regulations). The seasonal Rim Rock Trail closure and the mud-closure rule are from the JCPOS Alerts & Closures page.
