Miners Alley started in 1993 as the Morrison Theatre Company and moved to Golden in 2003. It has been an Actors’ Equity theater since 2019. The theater is in the old Meyer Hardware building, close to the corner of 11th Street and Washington Avenue, and no seat is more than six rows from the stage. Alongside the mainstage season it runs a season for young audiences and their families, and there is a bar in the lobby.
The theater posts no box office hours; tickets are sold through its show pages, or call the theater. Parking is in the three downtown City garages, the two lots near 12th and Arapahoe Streets, and free two-hour zones on nearby streets.
