Denver's museum of William F. "Buffalo Bill" Cody and his Wild West show, beside his grave on Lookout Mountain. Adults $5; the grave, observation deck and park are free.
The Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave belongs to the City and County of Denver’s Department of Parks and Recreation and tells the story of William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody and his Wild West show. Cody is buried on top of Lookout Mountain, about 200 yards from the museum along a paved path (Park Amenities page, https://buffalobill.org/visit-us/park-amenities-and-things-to-do/).
Summer hours, May 19 to October 31, are 9 am to 5 pm every day; winter hours, November 1 to May 18, are 10 am to 5 pm Tuesday to Sunday. The museum closes on Thanksgiving, the Friday after, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Admission is $5 for adults 18 to 64, $4 for 65 and over, $1 for ages 6 to 17, free under 5 and $2 for active-duty military; only the museum charges, and the gravesite and park are free.
