Miners Alley’s theater for young audiences tells the Nutcracker story for families: Clara’s godfather Drosselmeier gives her a magical nutcracker, and she follows it into the Kingdom Under the Tree to help it beat the Mouse King. Saturday shows are at 10 am and noon; Visit Golden also lists Wednesday to Friday dates in December, with times on the theater’s box office.
