The Great Turkey Chase

The 13th annual Thanksgiving morning fun run: three miles out and back from Parfet Park, heading west on the Clear Creek Trail. It is timed but has no awards, and a raffle starts around 9:30 from tags on everyone’s bib. Registration is online only, is capped at the first 1,000 runners and goes up in price twice, with no refunds; packets can be picked up at the Runners Roost Golden store on November 24 and 25 or at the park on race morning. Golden now enforces paid parking on holidays, and Runners Roost points to the Clear Creek lot northeast of the park for free parking.
